Meet the TEAM

Simon McGuigan - Managing Director

  

With over 20 years of Commodity brokerage experience, Simon ran the Sugar Derivatives Departments at UBS, ABN Amro, Marex, and most recently 10 years with JB Drax Honoré, running the Commodities Department. A member of both the Exchanges ICE US No.11 Sugar Committee and the ICE Europe White Sugar Committee. Simon served as Chairman and speaker of the London Sugar Dinner and remains on the Committee. Simon is committed to finding specialist commodity solutions for clients, both on an F&O execution basis as well as delivering clearing accounts, margin finance and commodity trade finance.

Alex Homer - Director

 With nearly 15 years in the commodity industry, first serving almost a decade with physical trade house Czarnikow as part of the derivatives team looking after the execution and hedging requirements for the group.

 From there a move to brokerage firm JB Drax Honoré where Alex developed a more in depth knowledge of the commodity sector as a whole and refined his skills. This has given him the scope and experience to advise and help with structured hedging strategies using both futures and options to assist and fulfil the needs of our customers.
